Each shutter curtain is constructed from suitable interlocking galvanised steel laths and either a galvanised "T" section bottom rail or a
heavy duty mild steel bottom rail, running in galvanised steel side channels, mounted on galvanised steel support angles which are
bolted to the structure. The curtain weight is supported from a suitable steel tube barrel assembly at high level, running on quality steel
bearings. The barrel assembly is supported between mild steel endplates and driven through gears. Self-coiling shutters are fitted with
one pair of guide locks and chain operated shutter are fitted with chain keeps. All mild steel components are finished in one coat of primer.
Doors for openings above 4500mm wide are fitted with our tested wind anchor guide system as standard. Smaller sizes can be fitted
with this system if required.
Operation:-
Manual operation is by means of a continuous galvanised haul chain, through single or double reduction gearing or self-coiling shutters
by means of push up / pull down.
These doors are fitted with helically wound counter balance springs, fitted within the barrel assembly, to assist in operation. Each door
is fitted with an anti fall-back safety device which prevents accidental dropping of the door curtain.
Electrical operation is by means of high quality single or three phase motor, gearbox and integral safety device incorporating six electrical
limits. The safety device prevents accidental dropping of the door curtain. All controls are low voltage and have open, close and
emergency stop buttons as standard. Emergency manual over ride is provided as standard to allow operation of the door in case of
power failure.

Each door is purpose-made to suit site dimensions and requirements and is suitable for all types of industrial use where insulation is
not important.
